Let’s learn about Biagia! Biagia grew up in New Orleans and still loves to go back and visit when she can. She loves running and being outdoors.

  1. What’s your all time favorite shoe (running or not)?
    I don’t think I have one, I like switching around a lot and trying new brands.
  2. What’s one thing you can’t workout/run without?
    Definitely has be music.
  3. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    Everyone is really supportive of one another.
  4. What’s your favorite holiday? Why?
    Christmas, I like the cold weather and lights everywhere.
  5. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    Anywhere in Europe so I could travel around to all of the different countries.
  6. If you could eat anything everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
    Probably cookies or pizza.
Simone Buchanan

Let’s learn about Simone! Simone is from the North Dallas area. Before she had her little ones she was an Esthetician and Make up artist. She took up running after she had her daughter and fell in love with it. She enjoys being outdoors and in nature. One of her favorite things to do is discover new parks and running trails with her kids.

A few questions for Simone…

  1. What’s your all time favorite shoe (running or not)?
    My favorite shoe to run in is currently the New Balance 1080.
  2. What’s one thing you can’t workout/run without?
    I never leave without my headphones when I go on a run. I love music and change it up each run. I listen to anything from Foo Fighters to Yo Yo Ma.
  3. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    My favorite thing about being apart of the herd is the sense of family. We all look after each other and care about each other as well as out customers. Because of that, it never really feels like I’m going to “work”.
  4. What’s your favorite holiday?
    My all time favorite holiday is Halloween. Every year we do family costume themes and it is so much fun! In past years we have been The Incredibles, Marvel superheros, and Wizard of Oz.
  5. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    My vacation would be somewhere very vast and green and with hills as far as the eye could see. I have this vision of sitting on a cliffside with my husband surrounded by the flowiest grass imaginable. Just breathing in the fresh air. Ireland and Iceland are at the top of the list. But, having not ever been to those places I am open to suggestions!
  6. If you could eat anything everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
    If I could eat anything for the rest of my life it would have to be sushi!
George Wester

Let’s learn about George! George is a running enthusiast who lives in Plano and loves his cat.

    Definitely music
  3. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    Having the ability to come in everyday and change people’s lives. Also the fact I can share my love of the sport with anyone and everyone that steps inside our store.
  4. What’s your favorite holiday and why?
    Christmas. I love getting new running shoes and the food is the best.
  5. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    Munich. I love the city and I have a lot of friends I miss back there.
  6. If you could eat anything everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
    That’s a hard toss up between pizza and tacos.
Angela Martinez

Let’s learn about Angela! Angela was born and raised in Georgia. She ran track & cross country at UT Arlington and has been a Texan ever since. Her hobbies include running, working out, golf, and spending time with family & friends.

  1. What’s your all time favorite shoe (running or not)?
    I am long-time fan of the Nike Pegasus.
  2. What’s one thing you can’t workout/run without?
    I definitely cannot run or workout without a good pair of shoes.
  3. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    I love the Herd because of the people and the commitment to excellence.
  4. What’s your favorite holiday?
    My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas.
  5. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    I would go to Bora Bora. I’ve had friends who have gone and have seen the photos of the place…AMAZING!
  6. If you could eat anything everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
    I don’t know what I would eat…but I would definitely keep drinking Spark every morning.
Caitlin Bergren

Have you herd about Caitlin? Caitlin is from all over – she’s lived in 5 different places (including overseas!). She’s an artist who loves to read and go to the movies. She loves dad jokes, cheeseburgers, the Denver Broncos, and hanging out with her family.

A few questions for Caitlin…

  1. What’s your all time favorite shoe (running or not)?
    I had a pair of pink cowboy boots when I was younger – they’ve always been my favorite!
  2. What’s one thing you can’t workout/run without?
    A podcast to listen to.
  3. If you could eat anything everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
    My mom’s blueberry muffins and chips and queso.
  4. If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
    I’d like to be able to snap my fingers and immediately be anywhere I choose – because I’d like to see my friends and family anytime I want.
  5. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    I want to visit Norway because I am part Norwegian and it is a beautiful place.
  6. Where’s your favorite place to run in DFW?
    Trinity Trails.
  7. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    Definitely the goofballs I work with!
Chelsea Ragland

Have you herd about Chelsea? Chelsea grew up in Lampasas, Texas and went to school at Tarleton State University. She loves to travel and explore new cities and places. (So far her favorite place is Boston!) She enjoys being outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. Also- She has the best dog in the world, a 4 year old schnauzer/terrier mix named Beau!

A few questions for Chelsea…

  1. What’s your all time favorite shoe (running or not)
    My favorite casual shoe is my Birkenstocks- they are just so comfortable. Favorite running shoe is Brooks Levitate.
  2. What’s one thing you can’t workout/run without?
    I usually can’t run without my hat!
  3. If you could eat anything everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?
    I would gladly eat cannolis from Mike’s Pastries in Boston every day for the rest of my life.
  4. If could have any superpower what would it be and why?
    I would like to travel back in time just to experience other eras.
  5. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    I would love to go to Greece and Italy. They have such beautiful architecture and history. And a gondola ride wouldn’t be bad either 😉
  6. Where’s your favorite place to run in DFW?
    Usually the Trinity Trails.
  7. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    I like the inclusivity of the group.
Tamara Ogle

Let’s learn about Tamara! Tamara is 49 years old and has worked with FWRUNCO 6.5 years. Before joining the herd she was a teacher for 14 years! She has 3 kids (ages 14-20) that keep her busy! She has worked as a personal trainer, triathlon coach, running coach and bootcamp instructor for past 10 years. Which makes her a great fit for our training group coordinator!
She loves all things racing and has completed the Pikes Peak Ascent twice, finished 3 ironmans and is doing her 4th this September!

A few questions for Tamara…

  1. What’s your all time favorite shoe (running or not)
    Right now I like Saucony Ride.
  2. What’s one thing you can’t workout/run without?
    Gotta have my awesome Coer run bra with a pocket where I can comfortably put 3-4 GUs for long runs!
  3. Where’s your favorite place to run in DFW?
    I love running all around Fort Worth…everywhere other than the trail lol!
  4. What’s your favorite race you’ve ever done and why?
    Pike’s Peak was so beautiful and challenging and great friends to share with. Lake Tahoe IM was the hardest race I have encountered but also the most beautiful and again an awesome group of friends to share it with.
  5. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    I love ALL the people in our Monday group, I love helping teach our training groups about running and I also love watching the coaches help and inspire their pace groups.
  6. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    Europe- I have never been and I would love to explore. Hopefully the future will allow this!
Nick Bettes

Let’s learn about Nick! Nick is a native Texan, raised east of Dallas in Rowlett. He’s been a mover since he could walk and hasn’t slowed down since. Soccer is his passion, and running is a close second. He’s recently become interested in travelling (local and international) more. UK earlier this year, and he thinks Japan is next stop. He’d like to hit as many State and National Parks as he can as well.

A few questions for Nick…

  1. Where’s your favorite place to run in DFW?
    My favorite spots are the Trinity Trails, White Rock Lake, and I love off-road trails as well (Glen Rose, Cedar Hill, Sansom Park).
  2. What’s your all time favorite shoe (running or not)
    My favorite running shoe is a toss up between the Brooks Launch and the Saucony Kinvara. Casual shoe: anything Vans or Olukai makes.
  3. What’s one thing you can’t workout/run without?
    My music. No matter what I am doing, there is always music on.
  4. What’s your favorite thing about being apart of the herd?
    I love being part of something that is tied to the local community. I love seeing my neighbors and getting to know them and watch them get better every single day.
  5. If could have any superpower what would it be and why?
    Super power, hmmm…that’s a tough one. I would want the ability to manipulate (move) things with my mind.
  6. If you could have an all expense paid vacation anywhere where would it be and why?
    I would love to go to Peru and explore the Amazon. The natural beauty there is near unmatched, and the history and architecture is something I would love to learn more about.
